Come audition for RIOT IMPROV

RIOT IMPROV has been performing in the Boston area since 2005; we were known as Improv Jones Boston up until 2017

We are in residence at The Rozzie Square Theater where we perform on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month. We perform long form improv. Practices will be held twice a month.

Our most popular format is our "Stories to Scenes", a show where we collaborate with local story tellers in a unique mash-up to create hilarious improv comedy with a narrative twist! RIOT IMPROV creates improv scenes inspired by real-life tales of humor, tragedy, love, and more, performed live. ​and "Monthly Special" It's a night of comedy improv drawing from different sources of inspiration from art, music, monologues and more! ​
 
The Need To Knows

• Date: Sunday, November ?????????

• Time: 6pm - 7:30pm and 8pm - 9:30pm
• Improv Experience: All levels of Improv experience
• Requirements: 18 +; access to transportation to attend regular practices and shows in the Roslindale neighborhood; a positive attitude toward learning and being part of a team. We encourage people from all races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and experience to attend.
• What to expect during the audition: Expect to be needed for the full two hours of the audition as we will be leading warmups and a series of improv exercises and scenes to assess your improv skills.​
• What to expect after the audition:  You will be notified by e-mail the day after auditions
• Practice: Twice a month
• Performance: Once a month on the 3rd Saturday
